June 11th, 6:30 pm, Vashon’s Methodist Church
The Breathable Body and Vashon Fire & Rescue Department (VIFR) with the support from the Vashon Chamber of Commerce invite the community to an evening of information about what you can do when the fires surrounding Vashon pollute our air.
Robert Litman of The Breathable Body, aka Vashon Breathing Center, has been teaching clients breathing care for over 30 years. He will provide techniques for safer breathing when the air is almost unbreathable, and for when it’s difficult and frightening to take a breath.
VIFR representatives will report on forest fire trends for the upcoming season, as well as what you can do around your home to mitigate the potential for Island fires.
There will be suggestions on the best home air filters and masks to support healthy breathing.
Join us on Tuesday, June 11th, at 6:30 at the Vashon Methodist Church
Everyone is welcome.
